Key features and review of the Alcatel One Touch 565

Alcatel One Touch 565 is a stylish and lightweight mobile phone launched by Alcatel in the end of 2004. It supports tri-band GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 MHz, which provides error free coverage. It measures 48 x 107 x 21 mm and weighs 93g. It has a good feel in the hand, and the good shaped plastic body and styled highlights give it an attractive and nice look. The Alcatel One Touch 565 comes with CSTN 65K colors display with the resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, which is standard resolution for this category of cell phones.

Just below the display we found a nice numeric keypad which is comfortable to press. Beside call receive and send one can experience various features, which can be conrolled through easy to use menu. One Touch 565 has built-in 0.3 mega pixel camera that can captures images upto 640 x 480 pixels, which is not a very high resolution for printing, but sufficient for email and other web based applications.

It offers 40 polyphonic ringtones that can be choose from the menu and can be set according to your choice. Other features of Alcatel One Touch 565 are WAP 2.0, Java MIDP 2.0, Vibration alert, Games, Video player, T9, SyncML, Organizer, Calculator, Voice memo, Voice dial, Photo call and Phonebook where you can store upto 300 records. It comes with 3 MB of internal memory.

The phone is equipped with standard 800 mAh Lithium-ion battery, which allows for a talk time of 3 hours along with a stand by of 275 hours and takes 120 minutes to full charge.

To download of images or other stuff it has infrared and USB port. Its a great phone and the camera images are so clear.
