Key features and review of the Benefon iO

Benefon iO is a simple to use most basic mobile phone. If you want to use your mobile just for call receive and send go for it, but if you are looking for funky kind of phone go for another handset, because it will not provide you advance features. It is not comfortable to hold because it is too wide. Benefon iO measures 56 x 122 x 24mm and weighs 167g. It comes with monochrome graphic display with the resolution of 64 x 90 pixels, which has dynamic & user-selectable font size with cyrillic characters.

Just below the display there is a nice keypad with appropriate spaced keys to dail a number and write message to your family and friends. You can also find a two-way navigation buttons below the centered display to control simple to operate menus.

This simple to use mobile phone supports single-band GSM 900 MHz, but no GPRS and WAP. It comes with features such as Vibration alert; Clock, Alarm, Games, T9, Calendar, Notepad, Calculator, Phone ON/OFF timers, Temperature indicator and phonebook, but you can store records in SIM only.

Benefon iO is powered by 700 NiMH mAh standard battery which has capacity to work up to 60 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 5 hours.

Overall, the Benefon iO is a nice basic mobile phone with all the basic features you can find. Its big size and heavy weight may disappoint you.
